Paul Corfield (b.1970)

Paul Corfield was born in Bournemouth, Dorset in the UK on 25 March 1970.

"I was able to draw (from what I can remember) at the age of about six or seven when I would copy pictures drawn by my Grandfather. My next teacher was a Mrs. Short at my secondary school. She was probably instrumental in guiding my career to where it is now. She was and I hope still is an excellent teacher of art.

"Since leaving school I have been totally self taught in the further techniques of using my paint brushes and airbrush."

Two of his works are owned by Louis K. Meisel and a further work, "Eve Ellis" has recently been purchased by Charles Martignette who emailed Paul as follows:

"All I can say is that your painting of Eve is one of the most beautifully sensual and highly erotic fetish images I have ever seen! Even her underwear have their own unique quality of sex appeal that I consider to be brilliant!"
